Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve and the gratest Tadoba landscape is arguably the finest home of tigers and in central India. Over the last few decades, it has emerged as the best breeding ground of tigers and has acted as a source of dispersing tigers for tiger reserves in the north, south and west of it thorugh increasingly stressed but functional forest corridors.
It is important to highlight the success of tiger conservation in Tadoba landscape and put the spotlight on other important and endangered wildlife species of the area. At the same time it is pertinent to underscore the processes and best practices which have formed a strong foundation to sustain greater numbers of tigers in spite of the challenges posed by increasing tiger numbers in human dominated landscape with fragmented forests.
